Refund and Returns Policy

At JapaneseMFG, due to the nature of B2B transactions involving industrial components and custom-made items, we generally do not accept returns or provide refunds.
However, in certain cases, we may review the situation and offer appropriate support after consultation with the supplier.

Eligibility for Return or Refund

A return or refund may be considered under the following circumstances:

  • The delivered product is defective (e.g., damaged, missing parts, or incorrect item)

  • The product differs from the specifications confirmed at the time of order

  • There is a material quality issue that violates the agreed terms or specifications

※ Requests must be submitted within seven (7) business days from the date of delivery.

Cases Not Covered by This Policy

The following cases are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Cancellations or returns due to customer convenience (e.g., incorrect order, change of requirements)

  • Products manufactured according to specifications agreed upon in advance

  • Minor cosmetic variations or deviations within acceptable manufacturing tolerances

  • Claims made more than eight (8) business days after delivery

Return Request Procedure

To request a return or refund, please contact the JapaneseMFG support team at support@japanesemfg.com and provide the following information:

  • Order number and product name

  • Detailed description of the issue (photos or video evidence required)

  • Date of delivery and date the issue was identified

  • Requested resolution (e.g., replacement, refund, re-shipment of parts)

We will review your request and respond within three (3) business days, after coordinating with the relevant manufacturer.

Return Shipping Instructions

Should a return be authorized, products must not be returned without prior written approval.
Return instructions, including shipping address, method, and cost responsibility, will be provided on a case-by-case basis.

Additional Notes

  • Due to the custom nature of many products, cancellations or modifications after production begins cannot be accepted.

  • If the transaction is conducted directly between the buyer and the manufacturer, any return or refund will be subject to the manufacturer’s own policy.

  • JapaneseMFG acts solely as a matching platform and will make commercially reasonable efforts to mediate, but assumes no legal liability for individual transactions.
