Payment and Shipping

At JapaneseMFG, we are committed to supporting secure, transparent, and flexible payment and shipping options to enable smooth transactions between overseas buyers and Japanese manufacturers.

Payment Methods

The primary payment methods available for transactions are as follows:

1. Credit Cards / Digital Payments

JapaneseMFG uses a secure payment system that supports the following methods:

Visa / Mastercard / American Express / Discover / Diners Club / Japan Credit Bureau (JCB) / eftpos Australia / China UnionPay (CUP) / Cartes Bancaires
Bancontact / EPS / iDEAL / Przelewy24 (P24) / Alipay / WeChat Pay

2. PayPal

If you have a PayPal account, you can make payments safely and smoothly.

3. Bank Transfer (International Wire Transfer)

Payments via international bank transfer to the designated account are also accepted.

4. Invoice Payment (Postpayment)

For qualified corporate buyers, post-delivery payment may be available upon prior agreement with the manufacturer.
Pre-approval is required, so please contact us for details.

Payment Terms

Please ensure that payment terms are clearly agreed upon with the manufacturer prior to placing an order.

As a general rule, we require full advance payment.
However, depending on the order amount, delivery schedule, and relationship history, individual arrangements may be made upon mutual agreement with the manufacturer.

Shipping

Shipping methods are determined through consultation between the buyer and the manufacturer, based on the type, quantity, and required delivery time of the product.
Common shipping options include:

  • International courier (e.g., DHL, FedEx, UPS)

  • Air freight

  • Ocean freight (FCL / LCL)

We also recommend agreeing in advance on Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, DAP).

Lead Time & Tracking

Each product requires a specific lead time for production (typically 7–30 business days).
Once shipped, a tracking number or Bill of Lading (B/L) will be provided.
Shipment status can be confirmed via messages or email through JapaneseMFG.

Important Notes

  • In general, production and shipping arrangements begin after payment confirmation.

  • Contracts, invoices, delivery notes, and other documents are issued formally by either JapaneseMFG or the manufacturer.

  • Transaction conditions may vary by project, so please make sure to confirm all details before placing an order.
